At Empower Lives, we provide structured early intervention programmes that combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with practical, enjoyable activities designed to help students regulate, refocus, and re-engage with learning.

Our work draws on trauma-informed, person-centred, restorative, and strengths-based models of practice. This integrated approach enables us to meet students where they are — recognising the impact of past experiences, promoting emotional safety and trust, and helping each young person build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships.

Sessions offer short, purposeful time away from the classroom where students can participate in activities such as sport, creative expression, or mindfulness. Each intervention is individually tailored, with clear targets and measurable outcomes that align with whole-school well-being and behaviour strategies.

We partner closely with schools and local authorities to:

  • Reduce behavioural incidents and exclusions
  • Improve attendance and readiness to learn
  • Support emotional regulation and social development
  • Strengthen engagement and attainment over time

When students reach agreed milestones, achievements are recognised and celebrated, reinforcing progress and motivation.

I cannot recommend Empower Lives enough. Lee From Empower Lives has a genuine heart of gold. He has a want and desire to help kids strive for better and helps them to see they can be better.
My son (Riley) was on a very dark path but over the months of Lee working with him and never giving up on him, he has gone from a grumpy, tired and un-engaged child on a very dark path to a funny and resilient teenager wanting the best for himself.
Under Lee's guidance he has sat and passed his exam to gain his CSCS Green card and is now actively applying for and looking for work. All this from a kid who wouldn’t go to school and struggled massively with the standard education system. Working using my son’s strengths and interests and actually listening to his wants and needs has got the best out of him.
Any kid that gets to get someone from Empower Lives as a mentor is incredibly lucky in my book."
